June Mummery told Express.co.uk the post-Brexit free trade agreement Bors Johnson agreed with the European Union, “gave everything away” on fishing. The former Brexit Party MEP also lambasted the UK’s failure to secure the 12 miles of “territorial waters” for Britain’s fishing sector.
Ms Mummery said: “Boris has sacrificed the fishing industry, coastal communities and our friends in Northern Ireland to get Brexit done.
“I expected that we would concede a bit, possibly they could carry on fishing sustainably, banning super trawlers, all these different things.
“But no way did I expect for us to give everything away.
“The Government didn’t even manage to secure the six to 12 mile, our territorial waters.
“They did not even negotiate that so to me, I don’t think the negotiations were good.
“I think David Frost all in all was good but at the end of the day, he used us to get Brexit done.”
During the same interview, Ms Mummery labelled Boris Johnson’s Brexit team “amateurs” for letting Michel Barnier and the European Union “pull the wool over their eyes” during trade negotiations.
The former Brexit Party MEP compared the trade agreement to a “crime scene” and added it took her three weeks to get over the post-Brexit fishing terms agreed with the EU.

She said: “The negotiations that happened were absolutely amateur.
“It is amateur, it is a crime scene, they did not look at everything.
“They went over there and the wool was pulled completely over their eyes.
“You have got to hand it to Mr Barnier, he is a very clever bloke.

“His team was a better side than ours.”
Ms Mummery continued: “I am disappointed, I am getting over it but it took me three weeks to get over this.
“It was horrific, one of the worst parts of this is that I am a Brexiteer and we are seeing some benefits already, I am ecstatic about that and really happy for us all, but all of a sudden you kind of feel you are on your own.
“Because a lot of Brexiteers are happy with that so you lose some of your support.”
