Nigel Farage has claimed NatWest is in “panic mode” after a fresh request for personal data was delayed.
The former Ukip and Brexit Party leader said he had been told he would have to wait until October 21 for a new subject access request to NatWest Group rather than the usual month.
Mr Farage said: “NatWest are in panic mode again.
“My new subject access request submitted to NatWest Group about personal information they hold on me has been categorised as ‘complex’!
“Instead of a regular 30 days, they say I will have to wait until October 21. What are they trying to hide now?”

Mr Farage previously used a subject access request to obtain documents from Coutts, which is owned by NatWest, showing his bank account was shut partly because his views “do not align with our values”.
The Brexiteer has launched a crusade against de-banking following his Coutts account being closed.
Mr Farage went public in June about being cut off by the prestigious private bank.
He used a subject access request to acquire a dossier indicating his account was shut due to his political views.
Mr Farage’s crusade against NatWest has led to the resignation of chief executive Dame Alison Rose and Coutts’s boss Peter Flavel.

Dame Alison quit after admitting to being the source of a BBC report suggesting Mr Farage fell below the financial threshold to hold an account with the bank for the wealthy.
NatWest has since announced an independent review, with lawyers probing the closure of his account and other instances of de-banking.
Mr Farage earlier this week said Coutts has offered to reinstate his personal and business accounts, while he is also seeking compensation from the bank.
His campaign on de-banking has won the backing of ministers and Tory MPs.
