Astroworld stage lights show eerie message foreshadowing tragic deaths

Stage lights on the Astroworld stage showed a sombre message that some claim foreshadowed the tragic events that followed.

Eight people have died and many more were being treated, following the harrowing crush at the concert in Houston, Texas, on November 5.

But just hours before the chaos during Travis Scott's performance, the stage lights read "See you on the other side" which some have said foretold the future of the evening.

In a viral Facebook post, Trevor Carter posted the photo and said: "This has got to be some of the fucking craziest foreshadowings I've ever seen."

The photo which now has over 1.2k shares shows the bright message beaming over the heads of the crowd which people in the comment section described as the "most logical view".

Someone commented: "I’m overwhelmed at the Astroworld stories. The evil themes that were celebrated, nothing is hidden about his 'artistic' bent.

"'See you on the other side,' creepy foreshadowing, the shadowy creatures crossing across the top of the set while people were dying… and so much more."

However, this wasn't the only eerie aspect of the show that people believed told the story of the events before they happened.

One Twitter user said: "The whole Astroworld fiasco has crazy unplanned foreshadowing going on like the first song of the evening was literally called 'Escape Plan'. I can’t make this up."

A news site for Houston claimed an article on the evening which described fans behaviour on entry to the concert foreshadowed what would happen on the evening.

The Houston Chronicle tweeted: "In a bit of foreshadowing, Astroworld attendees stampeded the entrance yesterday afternoon as gates to the festival opened.

  • Astroworld concertgoers 'ignored as they climbed on stage to stop Travis Scott's show'

"Some fans were trampled and others involved in the mayhem were detained."

According to the article, an attendee named Mycah Hatfield said: "As we were arriving at the Astroworld Festival at NRG Park right at 2:00, a stampede burst through the gates. Hundreds of people destroyed the VIP security entrance, bypassing the checkpoint.

"People were trampled. Some were detained."

  • Travis Scott to pay for funerals of eight victims of fatal Astroworld tragedy

Emergency crews rushed to save lives on November 5, a handful of revellers chose to keep the party going by appearing to dance on top of an ambulance.

Those who tragically could not be rescued alive from the crowd included a 14-year-old teenager and a selfless man who put his life on the line to help another.

Travis Scott has been pleading for prayers for the victims after claims were made that the performer was unaware of the tragedies.
