Boulder police will line up on Foothills Parkway on Wednesday afternoon as the body of Officer Eric Talley, who is among the victims of this week’s mass shooting at the Table Mesa King Soopers, is taken from Boulder to an Aurora funeral home, department officials said on Twitter.
Members of the public are invited to join police to show their support for Talley, 51, officials said. Those wishing to join the procession are asked to line up on the west side of Foothills Parkway between Pearl Street and South Boulder Road before 3 p.m.
The procession will begin at 3 p.m. and head down Pearl Street and Foothills Parkway before turning on to U.S. 36, officials said. Those roads will be closed as the hearse passes through.
A department representative could not immediately be reached for additional information.
