A wildfire burning in Teller County has prompted evacuation and pre-evacuation notices.
An evacuation order is posted for the Palmer Village subdivision because of a fire near Manchester Place, according to the Teller County Sheriff’s Office. The closest major intersection is Manchester Drive and Lower Twin Rock Road (County Road 42).
“Everyone in this area is ordered to evacuate immediately,” the sheriff’s office said.
Pre-evacuation warnings are posted for the Twin Rock and Druid Hills subdivisions.
