Thousands of people gathered in an open air water park for a music festival in Wuhan.
The Chinese city was the original epicentre of the coronavirus pandemic, and the scene of revellers enjoying themselves with no masks or social distancing might have looked like being from a different era, before the COVID-19 outbreak.
Partygoers were packed side-by-side in the water at the weekend, with many in inflatable dinghies, as they watched the performances.
The coronavirus pandemic is believed to have originated in the industrial city in Hubei province, which went into lockdown for 76 days to try and stop the outbreak.
There have been no new confirmed cases of the virus in Wuhan since the middle of May.
COVID-19 has since spread around the world, with almost 22 million registered cases of the virus, and masks and social distancing a feature of life for many people globally.
According to Johns Hopkins University, there have been more than 770,000 deaths worldwide.
