Matt Hancock was ambushed by a gaggle of giggling women on the Tube and a witness claimed he was "clearly loving the attention".
In the clip, which one of the excited lasses later uploaded on TikTok and is embedded below, the former Health Secretary has his hat stolen by one of his female fans while other members of the group sing and chant at him.
Surrounding the politician, one woman asks "are you really Matt Hancock?"
Another woman asks him to take off his mask, saying: "You've been double jabbed so we're good."
When it was uploaded on TikTok, one of the women explained: "So we chased this man thinking it was someone we knew and turned out to be Matt Hancock.
"We terrorise the poor man," they wrote in the on-screen caption.
They added adds: "We stole his hat so thanks for that, Matty boy."
Before they leave the District Line underground train, Hancock tells the women: "You go and enjoy yourselves."
It is two months since Hancock lost his cabinet job for kissing aide Gina Coladangelo, and he was recently snapped on holiday in Cornwall with his kids.
A witness told The Sun that Hancock was "clearly loving the attention".

They claimed: "When the group spotted who he was they sat next to him. One girl even sat on her mate's knee so Hancock had three women around him, they were getting pretty close.
"That is when he got up and went to stand near the doors.

"But there were more women there and they all followed him anyway and gathered around him.
"They grabbed the hat and he tried to get it back but they were all laughing and cheering. It was very funny.
"He [Hancock] looked uncomfortable after it happened because, I guess, it left him exposed for the rest of the journey."
