Disney World disaster as two families brawl – leaving one man in hospital

A dispute between two families at a Disney World escalated from altercation to all-out brawl after a tense moment at the popular entertainment resort.

The so-called "Most Magical Place on Earth" played host to a brawl between two families, which got so out of hand that one man was left hospitalised.

Two families began trading foul words and eventually punches as they geared up for a fight between one another while attending Fantasyland.

Reports suggest that the family was somewhere in between Cinderella's Castle and Peter Pan's flight when they started trading blows, with onlookers screaming in the background.

Theme park personnel are said to have taken several minutes to break up the warring families, with deputies having to get involved also in a queue-cutting incident that spilled over.

One witness to the fight said: "We came upon it, and it appeared as though it took about two minutes for two security personnel to arrive. Deputies arrived probably about five minutes after that."

The dispute that turned violent is said to have been caused by a woman queueing for the Mickey's PhilharMagic event when she realised she had left her phone.

The woman left to retrieve her phone, but upon returning to the queue where her family was waiting, she found herself blocked by another.

An unmoving second family attempted to block the woman from re-joining her family and jumping in front of them in the queue.

Her family are said to have then waited outside to confront the other group, with one reportedly saying "we don't appreciate you guys pushing my younger sister".

The confrontation soon spilled over, ending in a bout of shouting and physical fight before police were forced to get involved.

One man suffered a facial laceration and is now in the hospital, while others suffered small bruises and three have been arrested for misdemeanour battery.
