The SpaceX CEO shared the news he and Mr West have agreed to hold a meeting on the app on Twitter. Clubhouse is an invite-only app that allows up to 5000 users to listen in to conversations and meetings with groups of people.
Posting the news to Twitter, Mr Musk said he and the superstar musician will speak on the app but did not give a date.
He said: “Just agreed to do Clubhouse with Kanye West.
“The most entertaining outcome is the most likely.”
Mr West has not tweeted since November 4, where he declared he would be running for President in 2024.
The CEO and rapper have a long-standing friendship dating back to 2011, where the pair are believed to have met at the SpaceX headquarters.
Mr Musk posted a picture of the two at the time in front of what appears to be a SpaceX capsule, and said: “Kanye stopped by the SpaceX rocket factory today.”
In 2015, Mr Musk praised Mr West for his “incredible tenacity” while writing for Time 100, and added: “He’s not afraid of being judged or ridiculed in the process.
“Kanye’s been playing the long game all along, and we’re only just beginning to see why.”
Last year, Mr West announced he was running for President and was immediately endorsed by the Tesla CEO.
In an interview with Forbes, the rapped suggested Mr Musk would “be the head of our space program”.
But Mr West also said in the interview he believes vaccines are “the mark of the beast,” and “Planned Parenthoods have been placed inside cities by white supremacists to do the Devil’s work”, causing Mr Musk to distance himself from his campaign.
He said on Twitter: “We may have more differences of opinion than I anticipated.”
