The Denver Police Department reported via social media three separate crashes Sunday night into early Monday morning that killed one person and sent three to the hospital.
DPD reported a fatal crash at 1:41 a.m. Monday. The collision at West Alameda Avenue and South Sheridan Boulevard killed one person. That person was pronounced dead on the scene. The Office of the Medical Examiner has yet to release the name of the person killed.
Just before 6 p.m. Sunday, police responded to a crash involving two motorists and two pedestrians at East 14th Avenue and North Logan Street. Investigators are treating the incident as a hit and run, with both pedestrians transported to the hospital. Police did not share the extent of the injuries.
Denver police are also investigating a crash that happened around 10 p.m. Sunday at 18th Street and Market Street downtown. A collision between a motorist and a motorcyclist sent one to the hospital with what police say are non-life-threatening injuries.
Police did not indicate whether any of the drivers involved in the crashes have been ticketed or arrested.
