A massive police search has been launched after a five-year-old girl was reportedly grabbed by kidnappers and bundled into a suitcase outside a hotel in Italy.
CCTV footage shows little Kataleya Mia Chicillo Alvarez playing on steps in front of the Astor Hotel in Florence before she vanished.
The Peruvian migrant had been living at the hotel with her family and more than 140 other migrants when she disappeared on June 10. A team of forensic officers ordered all of the hotel's occupants to leave on Sunday, so that they could conduct a fingertip search of the site.

A nearby garage and a building in Maragliano that may have been used as a staging post by the abductors were also ransacked by search teams.
Italian police have been unable to find any trace of Kataleya and her kidnappers . Investigators believe that that the five-year-old was bundled into a trunk or suitcase and carried out of one of the hotel's exits.
Kataleya's toothbrush has been taken away by forensic scientists from Italy's Carabinieri Scientific Investigation Department in order to establish a DNA profile of the missing child.
The hotel is reported to be the focus of an ongoing gangland feud, buty Kataleya’s father, Miguel, said he could not believe those responsible for the illicit activities in the hotel would “involve a little girl”.

Kataleya's family has lived in a single room at hotel since September last year. They had moved to Italy when she was six months old.
