Harry and Meghan to stop books and interviews as nothing left to say – insider

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are rumoured to be stopping their tell-all documentaries, memoirs and interviews as they have "nothing left to say", according to insiders.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have spent the last two years appearing on our TV screens and on bookshelves across the world, with each release bringing a new bombshell about life behind the Palace walls.

But now it appears the pair are taking a step back from the media and are planning to take on roles out of the public eye.

An insider told the Sun: "That period of their life is over – as there is nothing left to say."

The Duke and Duchess became infamous for their royal-bashing outbursts after they gave a bombshell TV interview with Oprah Winfrey in 2021, a year after they sensationally quit the Firm.

Since then the pair have appeared on our screens countless times, including for the hit Netflix documentary Harry & Meghan, where they took aim at the media as well as their royal relatives for stripping them of their privacy.

Just a month after the 2022 show was released, Harry's memoir Spare became an instant best-seller after it hit shelves in January of this year, with the Prince's X-rated revelations about losing his virginity, getting frostbite on his todger and dabbling with drugs shocked readers around the world.

The stream of releases has seen the pair take aim at Harry's immediate family, including King Charles, Queen Camilla, Prince William and Kate Middleton, as well as the institution itself.

The speculation comes after rumours that the Sussexes' relationship could be in danger.

The pair were recently forced to deny allegations that Harry staying was in a secret hotel room away from his wife in a rare public statement, with a representative for the couple telling the Daily Star the hearsay was "absolutely not true".

But Paul Burrell, who was Princess Diana's butler for 10 years up until her tragic 1997 death, recently claimed the Duke of Sussex may only be staying with the former Suits star for the sake of their two young children.

"Am I the only person in the UK that is thinking, has Harry finally woken up to the truth?" Burrell questioned on GB News.

"Has he finally seen the truth of what his wife is doing and that he’s been brainwashed and mesmerised by her beauty or something? Because we all know that but he doesn’t seem to see it."

The Daily Star has contacted Harry and Meghan's representatives for comment.
