Prince Harry dubbed his most recent tell-all interview a "free session" of therapy while viewers had to pay nearly £20 to watch.
The Duke of Sussex sat down with physician and author Dr Gabor Maté this afternoon (Saturday, March 4) for an "intimate" live stream to promote his memoir, Spare.
In the interview, Dr Maté can be seen pulling out notes based on the book before "diagnosing" Harry with series of mental health conditions, including ADD (Attention Deficit Disorder), PTSD, and depression.

But Harry didn't seem perturbed by the clinician's assessment, replying: "Free session, wonderful," referring to a session of therapy.
But the session wasn't free for everyone – those wanting to watch the interview in the UK had to pay £17 plus a £2.12 fee, which as well as access to the event also got them a copy of the book, released on January 10, 2023.
And some viewers weren't happy with the cost of the ticket.
One took to Twitter, writing: "Prince Harry selling his therapy session in the name of bringing mental health awareness (only to those who can afford it) is the sleaziest most crass gig he’s made to date. It repulses me."

A second added: "King of Hypocrisy: Prince Harry to Charge $33 (£19) for Fans to Watch His ‘Trauma’ Therapy via Livestream," while a third added: "Prince Harry’s chat with Dr. Gobar, asking his fans to subscribe to watch his therapy session, gives serious @OnlyFans vibes."
The event, hosted by publisher Penguin Random House, was advertised as an "intimate conversation as they discuss living with loss and the importance of personal healing."
The terms and conditions of the event said: "Ticket holders will be viewing a live conversation; however, there will be no live audience participation. Chat will be disabled and any question pre-submitted and chosen to be asked live will be read by the moderator."
Harry has been a vocal advocate for talking therapy in recent years and now hopes to help end the stigma around mental health issues.
Speaking to Oprah Winfrey in 2021, he said: "That [a therapy session] was the start of a learning journey for me.
"I became aware that I'd been living in a bubble within this family, within this institution and I was sort of almost trapped in a thought process or a mindset."
Harry's recent memoir saw the prince dish the dirt on his relatives, accusing them of intentionally leaking stories about other members of the royal household to the press.
He even alleged his brother, Prince William, had been physically violent towards him.
And it is understood the release of the book has had a devastating impact on the rest of the family, in particular King Charles.
Appearing as a guest on last week’s episode of the Pod Save The King podcast, Charles royal biographer and author Gill Knappett said: "All I can say is, he’s been hit hard, beyond hard, in fact – as any father would be."
