In a statement on Saturday, the President also said the retaliatory airstrike which killed two ISIS-K targets would not be the last of such action. Mr Biden said the situation in Kabul “continues to be extremely dangerous, and the threat of terrorist attacks on the airport remains high”.
“Our commanders informed me that an attack is highly likely in the next 24 to 36 hours,” President Biden said.
