A man who killed an estate agent using a plant stand at a model home has been executed by lethal injection.
The killer, Kosoul Chanthakoummane, 41, was found guilty of killing Sarah Walker who was found with more than 30 stab wounds at the house in McKinney, Texas, in 2006, The Daily Mirror reports.
Blood under the fingernails of Chanthakoummane and a bite mark on the victim were linked to the prisoner who was also placed at the model home by witnesses.

Despite his execution, the 41-year-old had long claimed his innocence with his lawyers stating their concerns about the reliability of DNA evidence that was used to convict the killer and claimed it was part of a pattern used by prosecutors in the case.
The defence team successfully discredited the claim that Chanthakoummane's DNA was found on the bite mark to Ms Walker’s neck as well proving that two witnesses who had given evidence at the trial, were in fact hypnotised by Texan officers.
However, despite the work by the defence, the Texas Board of Pardons and Paroles, last Monday, dug in their heels and refused to revoke Chanthakoummane’s death sentence or give him a 120 day reprieve.
