Prince Harry and Meghan Markle 's new California mansion is available to rent for $700 (£540) an hour – but forbids adult filming.

Rental website Giggster lists the Montecito home as the perfect backdrop for photo shoots, music videos or other engagements.

The property, located 84 miles from Los Angeles, can accommodate a crew of 15 people and private parking for 50, the MailOnline reports.

The £11 million house seems to have been listed with Giggster, which advertises filming locations across the US, before the Sussexes bought it this summer.

There's no suggestion Harry and Meghan had anything to do with listing the mansion, but it still remains active online and is even featured as "new" on the website.

It's unknown if anyone has tried to book it since the couple moved in with son Archie, or if their booking would be honoured.

The mansion is listed as an "Italian Villa' and must be rented for a minimum of 10 hours.

According to the listing, there is no smoking, no pets, no cooking and no alcohol allowed on the premises and "adult filming" is also banned.

Photos on Giggster reveal details of the house known as "The Château", which is 14,563 square feet and occupies 5.4 acres of land, for the first time.

Its exterior is covered in ivy and features blue shutters over the windows, as well as high archways, a pool and some very neatly trimmed hedges around the front gates.

The interior, believed to have been updated since Harry and Meghan moved in, is shown to feature dark wood accents, plenty of bookshelves and old-fashioned furniture.

Fans were thrilled in August when the couple filmed several virtual engagements inside the house which revealed more details of the decor, including neutral paint swatches indicating some new renovations.

The mansion was previously owned by notorious Russian billionaire Sergey Grishin and is located in an exclusive gated community in Montecito, which is also home to the likes of Oprah Winfrey, Brad Pitt and Ellen DeGeneres.

It features a huge pool, wine cellar, movie theatre and tennis court as well as a number of outbuildings, including a two-bedroom guest house for visitors.

Aerial photos showing what seemed to be a large playground and children's cottage sparked frenzied rumours that the couple are expecting a second baby.

Harry and Meghan had previously been staying in the home of Hollywood mogul Tyler Perry after splitting with the Royal Family and moving to California earlier this year.
