Meghan Markle and Prince Harry were spotted on a rare public outing as they enjoyed a "double date".
The Duke and Duchess were seen in Montecito, the first time the couple has been seen since moving to the California neighbourhood.
Meghan and Harry moved to Santa Barbara earlier this year and purchased a $14 million (£10.8m) luxury property after stepping back from royal duties.
Both were seen walking hand in hand with face masks as they stepped out to join musician David Foster and his wife actress Katharine McPhee at Lucky’s Steakhouse.
The Duchess wore trendy leather trousers that she paired with a neutral camel jumper and a trench coat.
She completed the look with some bright orange heeled mules, reports MailOnline.
Prince Harry was seen donning casual dark trousers, white shirt and brown shoes.
It appears the couple went on the double date to celebrate David and Katharine's pregnancy announcement.
Prince Harry's secret words whispered to Meghan Markle during Royal Wedding
This comes as a royal biographer recently claimed Meghan Markle and Prince Harry "won't ever want a way back" to the Royal Family, and have "burnt significant bridges beyond repair".
The couple announced in January this year that they would step back from senior positions in the Royal Family following talks at Sandringham between Harry, Prince Charles, Prince William and the Queen.
Meghan and Harry have since relocated with their son Archie Harrison to California, having spent the intervening period living in Canada, in hopes of a more private lifestyle.
Now a new book claims that Meghan Markle and Prince Harry announced their plans to step back from life as senior royals without consulting the Queen – a move which reportedly hurt Harry's brother Prince William.
In his new book, Battle of The Brothers, royal author Robert Lacey also claims the Palace made one big mistake initiating Meghan into the family.
He claims the Queen treated Meghan like a "routine royal" instead of sitting down and talking with her about the things she was interested in.
