Meghan Markle ‘in her element but Harry needs to find his role in power couple’

Prince Harry still needs to find his role in the power couple that is him and Meghan Markle, a royal expert has claimed.

A year on from Megxit, the Duchess of Sussex’ career is taking off as the duo plan to work with Netflix and Spotify as well as build their own non-profit, Archewell.

Meghan and Harry are now carving themselves roles as A-list celebrities in Hollywood, a world the former Suits actress knows well.

Writing for the i, columnist Ian Burrell claims Meghan is in her "element" as a "media impresario and social activist" but adds that Prince Harry is "less footsure" of the glamorous new world he has found himself in.

After analysing the couple’s year, Mr Burrell writes: "While Meghan is in her element as a media impresario and social activist, her husband is less footsure.

"The British public loves watching him at the Invictus Games, the sports event for wounded and injured veterans that he created.

"But his biographer Angela Levin this month described him as a "shadow of his former self" who has "discarded life as an action man to become an airy-fairy do-gooder."

He adds that although Prince Harry is "one half of a media power couple" he "still doesn't seem to have found his role."

Mr Burrell said: "He is half of a global media power couple but Harry still doesn’t seem to have found his role.

"He needs to find his arche."

Mr Burrell’s comments come after with US Weekly's American hosts, Molly Mulshine and Christina Garibaldi, claimed Prince Harry will try to cling on to his military titles as the Sandringham review looms.

Prince Harry’s credentials are something "that they want to work out,” Ms Garibaldi claims but added the pair "can't have it all."

The duo also suggested Prince Harry and Meghan will do well to remember they may one day "no longer be the IT couple of the moment.”

Ms Mulching said: "I think there will come a day when Meghan and Harry are no longer the It couple of the moment.

"Maybe they will want a little bit of a quieter life back within the royal fold."
