The Met Office has released yellow weather warnings for wind, covering both Tuesday and Wednesday. Maps shared by the weather agency show large areas of the country are to be hit by “a period of winds”.
The alert begins on Tuesday at 3pm, and is set to remain in place until the following day at 6am.
It covers most of Wales, Cornwall, the Liverpool area and the eastern region of Northern Ireland.
A second yellow warning has been placed for Wednesday, and interests the southwestern part of England.
Indicating this alert is currently in place between 6am and 11.59pm on April 12, the Met Office said: “A swathe of strong winds potentially bringing some disruption on Wednesday.”
