After leaving 9News (KUSA) earlier this month, Meteorologist Kylie Bearse has announced that she’ll be joining FOX 31 (KDVR) starting next week.
Bearse was the morning weekend weather forecaster at her old gig. Now, she’ll handle weekdays from 4:30 a.m. to 10 a.m.
“This is a dream a decade in the making, and I’m still pinching myself that it’s real,” Bearse wrote on her hiking and outdoor resource website Approachable Outdoors. “I can’t wait to get started and wake up every morning doing what I love. Other than the channel, not a lot will be changing; I’ll still be updating Approachable Outdoors and sharing your hiking pictures on Fox31! My first day will be April 26, and then you’ll see me on-air starting May 3 – See you soon!”
Bearse has been a meteorologist for more than a decade and worked at 9News for three years.
Kylie has been a “celebrity ambassador” for A Precious Child since 2018 and an associate board member with Run of the Rockies since 2019. Her last day at 9News is April 9.
“These last few years I’ve met the most incredible people while working at 9News, my colleagues quickly became some of my best friends and lifelines as I went through a lot of life changes,” Bearse said. “I also got to check off some pretty cool career bucket list items.”
Bearse will join Kirk Yuhnke and Meagan O’Halloran on FOX 31’s morning show.
