A mum-of-four scrawled "sorry" on the wall after her boyfriend dumped her at a children's birthday party, a coroner has heard.
Katrina Fuller's dead body was discovered by her son who was so traumatised he immediately FaceTimed his girlfriend to show her.
An inquest into the 35-year-old's death heard that during a friend's daughter's birthday party there was an "incident" on the bouncy castle.
The mum and her boyfriend got into a heated argument and split up before her partner stormed off to stay at his sister's house.
Katrina then called her other half and said she "would do something stupid" if the couple split up but her boyfriend hung up.
Fearing she would go through with the threat, her boyfriend telephoned the shop assistant's son and asked him to "keep an eye" on his mum.
In a statement, the coroner's clerk, John Halloran, read a statement saying: "Katrina's son was hysterical. His mother had hanged herself."
Family members immediately rushed to the home in Crawley, West Sussex and arrived as paramedics were resuscitating Katrina after receiving the harrowing phone call.
Katrina was rushed to hospital and was immediately taken for a CT head scan as there were signs of a clinical brain injury.
On June 11, a brain stem test was undertaken but the "beautiful" mother tragically passed away at East Surrey Hospital in Redhill.
After her death, a family member was organising her funeral details when they found a message which said "Sorry" in Katrina's bedroom.

Assistant West Sussex coroner Sarah Clarke told Katrina's ex-partner, her brother and father Terry: "It is the hardest part of any inquest, that you do not get the answers to the questions that you need to have closure.
"We know as much as we can about the circumstances. The truth is we may never have the answer to that question."
Friends and family raised money online for her two youngest children alongside a tribute that said: "On June 11 Katrina Fuller sadly passed away, she was a loving mother to four beautiful, talented and creative children, five-year-old Kason, Tia aged nine years, 16-year-old Leila and Ali aged 17 years.
"She was a big sister to Grant, a step-daughter to Graham and Steve, cousin to far too many to list and good friends to many people. She will be missed by so many people, she was always the life and soul of any party and lit up a room when she entered it.
"We all love her and will miss her deeply.
"This is such a sad time for everyone that knew her. She was an amazing, beautiful woman."
