Panicked Putin mouthpiece fears fighter jets could end Ukraine war

Ben Wallace warns Russian aggression remains ‘determined’

Vladimir Putin’s mouthpiece and propagandist Olga Skabeyeva has issued a warning to the Russian military. She said that the upcoming weapon supplies for Ukraine could make Kyiv impossible to defeat and spell the end to the war. This comes as the US announced it would allow allies to give fighter jets to Ukraine, in a major boost to President Volodymyr Zelensky.

Speaking on Russia-1, Ms Skabeyeva said that Russia has a small window of opportunity to win the war.

She explained: “There is a feeling that we have a window of opportunity now when we can achieve our goals.

“Ukraine has not yet been supplied with Leopard tanks, in the quantity that Zelensky asked for.

“They have not yet been supplied with fighter jets and they will be in the near future.”

“In any case, this will be taken into account in all our plans, and we have all the necessary means to achieve the goals we have set.”

National security adviser Jake Sullivan confirmed that US troops will also train Kyiv’s pilots to use the jets.

The decision paves the way for countries including The Netherlands, Belgium and Denmark to give Ukraine some of their own planes.

President Zelensky hailed the move as a “historic decision”.
