A delighted pensioner won more than £70,000 in the Lotto after a hidden pearl gave her “good luck”.
The woman, from Newcastle in New South Wales, Australia, hadn’t realised she’d won until officials got in touch.
She scooped 132,237 Aussie dollars [£70,596] in the draw on Saturday, July 24, MailOnline reports.
She said: “There’s been lots of lucky little moments like finding a carpark easily and now this.
“I was eating a tin of smoked oysters the other day and I found a pearl in the tin. I've had the best luck ever since.
“It’s a complete surprise! I marked my entry with special numbers like my children's birthdays and they are even more special now.”
The pensioner is set to treat her children and other family members with the winnings.
She added: “I’m a pensioner so this will certainly come in handy. It will just make life a lot easier.”

“Like the rest of the country, I’ve been so proud to support the England team and cheered them all the way to the final," she said.
"However, my husband has watched every group game and it has been a little trying at times, which is why I brightened my Friday evening with a glass of Prosecco and a National Lottery Instant Win Game.
"I won £20, which I then used to buy a couple of Lucky Dip tickets for that night’s EuroMillions draw. Just before I went to bed, I logged back in and saw that there was no jackpot winner so I thought that was it, little did I know I’d wake up a millionaire.”
