Police in Aurora are investigating the attempted abduction of two 12-year-old girls.
The incident happened at about 6:25 p.m. on May 18 near CentrePoint Park, 16299 E. Exposition Drive, police said on Twitter.
A man began talking to the girls and they ran away, police said. The suspect chased the girls and grabbed one in a bear hug. Two witnesses, a woman walking a dog and a man using an oxygen tank, intervened. Aurora crimes against children detectives have found the witnesses and an investigation is ongoing. The suspect remains at large.
