Prince Harry will do his “utmost” to return to the UK following the death of Prince Philip, it has been claimed.
He will want to support his family and especially his grandmother the Queen as she mourns, a source said.
The Duke of Edinburgh died at Windsor Castle on Friday, aged 99.
His grandson Harry, 36, has not been back to the UK since moving to North America with his wife Meghan Markle last March.
But a source close to the family told DailyMail.com: “Harry will absolutely do his utmost to get back to the UK and be with his family.
“He will want nothing more than to be there for his family, and particularly his grandmother, during this awful time.
“Meghan is obviously pregnant so she will need to take advice from her doctors about whether it is safe for her to travel, but I think Harry will definitely go.”
The duke's death was announced in a statement by Buckingham Palace.
It said: "It is with deep sorrow that Her Majesty The Queen has announced the death of her beloved husband, His Royal Highness The Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh.
"His Royal Highness passed away peacefully this morning at Windsor Castle.
"The Royal Family join with people around the world in mourning his loss.
"Further announcements will be made in due course."
The Duke of Sussex, 36, is yet to make a statement about his grandfather's death.
He was criticised last month after the Oprah Winfrey interview was aired while Philip was in hospital.
The explosive chat saw Harry and Meghan, 39, make a series of claims about their time as senior members of the Royal Family.
