Raging drivers foul-mouthed rant after Morrisons car wash makes car dirtier

A driver was left fuming after taking his vehicle through a Morrisons car wash only for it to allegedly come out in a worse state.

Stephen Dawson raised his concerns with the supermarket after taking his car through the automatic wash at its Foss Island petrol station in York.

He shared an expletive-filled video after discovering much of his car covered in what looked to be wax, Yorkshire Live reports.

It prompted others to get in touch to say that they had had the same experience and raised the concerns with Morrisons.

Mr Dawson, who lives in Huntington, took his Ford Focus to get clean before starting his shift as a delivery man for Amazon earlier this week.

In the video, he said there's "f*****g s**t all over the window" and said "that's how it's f*****g left it" as he filmed around his car.

He said: "It was dirty, don't get me wrong, but it wasn't horrendous."

Mr Dawson said it wasn't until he dropped off his first parcel some 20 minutes later that he realised that it had been "sprayed with wax and covered in marks everywhere".

"I got out and couldn't believe it", he said.

"I took it in semi-dirty and it came out worse. I didn't get out and check it straight away because you think it's going to be fine."

Mr Dawson filmed a video, which you can watch above, complaining about the "s*** all over the window" and others got in touch to say that they'd had the same experience and gotten a refund.

He said: "It's only £2.99 so I'm not too bothered as I'll take it to somewhere else but I've mentioned it to them.

"Others have complained about it happening.

"Some have said that the car wash is subcontracted which is why it hasn't been sorted yet."

Morrisons has been contacted by the Daily Star for a response.
