Rowdy tourist caught flashing her privates on motorbike in Bali is detained

A rowdy tourist caused outrage online after video emerged of her exposing herself on the back of a motorbike.

The blonde woman, from Denmark, visited the popular island of Bali in Indonesia and was caught flashing in public.

This came just days after a German tourist stripped naked and gatecrashed a performance at a temple inside a resort.

Video shared by social media activist Ni Luh Djelantik shows another outrageous incident on the southern part of the island near a resort in Seminyak.

The woman is seen riding with a male companion, who is later identified as a 49-year-old man from Germany, on a motorbike.

While the man is speaking to the person behind the camera, the woman flashes her private parts and laughs before her friend notices and puts her legs down.

Ni Luh called out the woman's indecent behaviour and explained in her post: "Bali will be just fine without garbage tourist!

"For you who say we make Bali lonely, please learn the difference between firmness and barbarism.

"Save a little bit of pride if you still have it."

She urged people to watch the video and to understand why Balinese people are struggling to take care of their heritage.

The incident was reported to the immigration office after it went viral on Sunday.

Sugito, head of the Ngurah Rai Immigration Office, wrote in a statement on Saturday: "They are being held in custody at the Ngurah Rai Immigration Office after being apprehended and detained.

"We will therefore conduct more investigations."

The official added that the pair arrived the country on April 9 and obtained a Visa on Arrival to visit Bali, which is valid until June 7, 2023.

Bali Governor Wayan Koster mentioned at a press conference for the growth of the tourism industry that "foreign tourists who misbehave, or involved in activities that are not allowed within their visa permit will be dealt with firmly".

The punishment include a range of strict actions such as "deportation, administrative sanctions and criminal penalties".
