A pub owned by Russell Brand has been put into lockdown following allegations made against the comedian.
The boozer has been completely shut off from the public within a day of a series of allegations being made via an investigation between the Times, the Sunday Times and Channel Four’s Dispatches. Four women have come forward with allegations against the Get Him To The Greek actor based on historical incidents claimed to have taken place between 2006 and 2013.
Prior to the release of the Dispatches documentary, Brand released a video where he denied the “very serious” and “criminal” allegations put to him by unnamed outlets.

Since Sunday, Brand has appeared to have been keeping a lower profile and his pub, The Crown Inn in Pishill, in Oxfordshire, has been sealed up. Security fencing is now understood to be completely surrounding the 15th-century former coaching inn, which has not been open since 2020.
Beige fabric adorns security fencing reaching around the edge of the entire establishment, according to reporting from theOxford Mail.He and his wife Laura Brand took the boozer over that year, with a sign on the door that now reads: "Pub temporarily closed".
Speaking to the outlet a local resident, who had been past the grade II-listed pub near Henley, said: "As we drove past this morning, they were putting up a hessian covering. It was like a sack covering across the front. It felt locked down. When we slowed down to look, the man putting it up stopped to look at us.
"I saw three security men in Hi-Vis behind. There were lots of people inside the building as well – about half a dozen." She later claimed that they thought Mr Brand was inside the pub and didn't want, "prying eyes".
