Singer’s TikTok performance interrupted by mum crashing through ceiling

An aspiring singer's impromptu performance was dramatically cut short when her mum crashed through the ceiling behind her.

Liz San Millan was recording a placement audition while staying at her parents' home before moving to New York City to pursue her dream for musical theatre.

The clip, which has now racked up 6.5 million views, shows Liz singing Kindergarten Boyfriend from Heathers The Musical in her room.

As she is getting to the warm-up exercise by humming the tunes, her mum suddenly falls through the ceiling and pops her leg right above Liz.

It takes Liz a few seconds to realise what just happened and she quickly turns around, saying: "Oh my God!"

A large pile of wooden panels and a layer of insulator roll come off, leaving a massive hole where Liz's mum has stepped on.

She posted the video on Saturday and captioned it: "Live footage of my mom telling me to break a leg."

Three days later, she made another clip to explain that her mum was completely fine without a scratch on her leg.

She said: "My mum was up in the attic looking for luggage and there are wooden beams which she's supposed to step on but she tripped over a little sofa and she fell through my ceiling and I got her on my video.

"But she's fine. She's great. She didn't know that was going to happen and I scared the crap out of me."

Liz also added that her father was trying to fix the hole and used duct tape to cover it but it wasn't working.

Viewers couldn't contain their laughter and commented that they did not expect to see that.

One said: "The way the leg just dangles there hahaha. Was not expecting that at all!"

"When she found out you could sing, she was 'floored'," a second joked.

A third said: "I really hope she's alright but lord I haven't laughed that hard in a long time!."
