The Met Office has splashed three yellow weather warnings across the entirety of England, Wales and Northern Ireland as well as much of Scotland. The storms are likely to bring 50mm of rain in some areas as well as lightning and hail. With these storms there is a “small chance that homes and businesses could be flooded quickly, with damage to some buildings from floodwater, lightning strikes, hail or strong winds”, the Met Office added.
