Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty cited local residents as saying Russian soldiers killed in Ukraine are being brought to Belarus morgues by truck before being sent back to Russia by train or plane.

A local resident in Mazyr said: “The number of bodies was unbelievably large. People at the Mozyr station were simply shocked by the number of bodies being put on the train.”

The morgues in Homel and Naroulia are also filled up, according to local residents.

It comes as Ukraine’s President Volodymyr Zelensky yesterday said Moscow was sending new forces after suffering what he claimed was its biggest losses in decades.

“Russian forces advancing from Crimea are attempting to circumvent Mykolaiv as they look to drive west towards Odesa.

“Russia is paying a high price for each advance as the Ukrainian Armed Forces continues to offer staunch resistance across the country.”
