Woman who urinated on bus hunted by police for causing £700 worth of damage

Police are on the hunt to find a woman who answered nature’s call in the middle of a double-decker public bus after the driver refused to pull over between stops.

The woman and her two friends boarded the bus travelling from Bournemouth to Ringwood in Hampshire on June 17.

It was smooth sailing until the driver refused to stop the bus and let the woman off between stops, so she decided to urinate where she was standing.

While she was relieving herself her male friend hurled abuse at other passengers and caused around £700 worth of damage by kicking the door and windscreen.

With an empty bladder, the woman allegedly went on to assault two young women. Police did not revival which of the two women from the CCTV is the individual who urinated on the bus.

Following the incident, all passengers were removed from the vehicle at Verwood, on the edge of the New Forest, as reported by Metro.

Kate Hann, a community support investigator at Dorset Police, said: "We are carrying out enquiries into this incident and I am keen to hear from anyone who recognises the three people in the CCTV images.

"I would also like to speak to the two young women, or possibly teenage girls, who say they were assaulted by the woman on the bus at the bus stop in Verwood to come forward so we can take their account of what happened.

"The cost of the damage is £700 and the actions of this group forced the passengers to abandon their journey and get off the bus.

"I am keen to identify the three people in these images and am urging anyone who has information that might assist our investigation to please come forward."
