A bloke who dressed as a terrorist for Halloween says his costume isn\u2019t offensive after people reported it to police.<\/p>\n

David Wootton dressed up as the bomber who attacked the Ariana Grande concert at the Manchester Arena. His outfit included an Arabic-style head-dress and a T-shirt which read \u201cI love Ariana Grande\u201d.<\/p>\n

The 40-year-old also had a black backpack which had \u2018TNT\u2019 and \u2018Boom\u2019 scrawled on it in white pen. It also appeared to have red and black wired coming out of the zipper. <\/p>\n

Mr Wootton posted images of his costume online, along with the caption: \u201cBet I get kicked out of the Halloween party\u201d. He later claimed, \u201cOnly went and won the best costume\u201d. <\/p>\n

According to SunOnline, many users posted under the Facebook post urging him to take down the post. One former friend even reported the controversial costume choice to the police. <\/p>\n

Speaking to the publication, one person said: \u201cIt makes me cry to think that someone would think this is remotely funny.\u201d Whereas Mr Wootton stands by the stance that it was not an offensive costume for an adult fancy dress party.<\/p>\n
