The father of a young woman kidnapped by Hamas has told how he fears she may never see her terminally ill mother again.
Noa Argamani, 26, was snatched from the Supernova music festival in southern Israel on October 7.
Her mother Liora is in hospital in Tel Aviv with incurable brain cancer, and Noa had been arranging her treatment.
Noa’s devastated father Yaacov said: “I hope Noa will be freed to see her mother before it’s too late. But I believe with her internal strength she is strong there.”
Noa, an only child, was filmed screaming, “Don’t kill me!” as she was driven away by gunmen. Earlier that day she had sent a message to her parents assuring them she was fine and would call later.
Yaacov said: “I watched the video and I saw right away it was Noa. She was scared, petrified, and so was her boyfriend.
“A video like that of your daughter breaks someone, especially when my wife is in the state she is in. She is not in the best place, the doctors do not have much hope for her.”
